And the Oscar2011 Best Dress goes to....

Hi Readers!

     Since last night I was excited to watch the Oscar 2011, natulog pa nga ako ng maaga(I slept early)  and skip my favorite T.V. program URBAN ZONE. Early this morning (as in 6 a.m.) I switch on the T.V.  and  looked all the channel that have news about the Oscar (oveeerrr!!)  I can't wait to the Live telecast of ABS-CBN (a local channel in the Philippines). Aside from knowing whose gonna win the Oscar, I was also looking for whose the best dress in evening gown or for this awards night. 

...And the Oscar Red Carpet Best Dress:

1. Michelle William nominated for Best Actress for the movie Blue Valentine wearing a Chanel gown with stunning pear-embellished (so pretty! I like pearl so much.. the gown compliment with her blond hair and white complexion. 2. Natalie Portman Oscar Best Actress wearing a purple dress by Rodarte, even she's pregnant she's still pretty with this gown.  3. Reese Witherspoon she's wearing a black and white gown by Armani Prive, simple but elegant. 

1. Melissa Leo the Oscar Best Supporting Actress for the Movie "The Fighter". Her gown was designed by Marc Bouwer, when I saw her walking in the stage I thought it was just a lace but if you take a closer look the gown is beautiful, very architectural and detailed. I also like the shoes she pair for this gown. 2. Mila Kunis co star of Natalie Portman in Black Swan, I like her gown made by Elie Saab when I saw her in standing in the stage I thought her bra was show off but it was part of design (it looked like sexy), I love this soft chiffon gown. 3. Mandy Moore the gown she wore catch my attention first I didn't recognize thats Mandy Moore (something new to her physically) second the gown was really stunning..will be proud  Filipino it was created by our own Monique Lhuillier.

1. Sandra Bullock gown was design by Vera Wang plus her beautiful lipstick that combine with her crimson color gown plus the red clutch. 2. Jennifer Hudson wearing Versace  gown...wow ang laki na talaga ng pinayat niya (sana ako rin) I like also her accessories bracelet plus the drop earings 3. Anne Hathaway the co-host of Oscar wearing Valentino. In the Oscar presentation she wore so many gown, I also like the second gown she wore like a bronze color. Oh I love her lipstick too.

FOTD: Abbygail Lash Adhesive from HBC

Hi Readers!

     This is for ladies out there...I have 4 set of False Lashes, I used them so many times. After so many times of use some of them do not stick anymore to my eyelid so I looked for lash adhesive. I went to the nearest mall and I found one in HBC shop. And now I end up to do this as my features of the day (FOTD). Heres my HBC product: Abbygail Lash Adhesive (waterproof surgical) reviews: 

Pro's (What I like)

1. Cheap. It only cost P60.00 pesos or $1.37 dollar, some lash adhesive price range was 100 pesos and above.

Con's (What I don't like)

1. It does not stick the false lashes. The product says it is adhesive but after I open the tube, what comes out was same as a glue texture. I follow the packaging instruction to let it dry first but after so many attempt I was disappointed because my false lashes did not bond in my eyelid.   

2. Messy. I attempt so many times just to have a result but I end up messy. As I said its like a glue. 

Will I purchased this again:

No, I will look for another brand even if it's expensive at least I will get good result. For this product I feel like I end up buying ordinary glue (like an Elmers Glue) in a tube that cost me too much!

Book Review: Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas (Jude's Favorite Book) by Bob Ong

Hi Readers!

     This is the first time I'll be posting a book review. One of my favorite past time is reading from pocket book fiction or non fiction, magazine and any readable materials. You will see more of books reviews in my blog site because that's the one of the things I enjoyed that I want to share with you. For my book review instead of summarizing the content I will pick some quotable line that I like, some wording's that can help some personal growth and unique phrases. 

     For my first book review I choose Bob Ong book titled "Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas" (Judes favorite book). The book contained logical or philosophical instances and event which turn to humor (You really laugh to some story). The book also contained truth and about some religious faith with twist of philosophical factors. Here's some quotes or line I like:

• " Paano ka maniniwalang ako, kung hindi ka man lang naniniwalang meron?"(How can you believe me when you don't believe it is existing)
• "May nasubukan na rin akong barberong bading na kung ituring ang buhok e parang tao. Third person kung tukuyin nya ang buhok. Halimbawa: "Saan natin S'YA babawasan?""Tumikwas S'YA eh""Ayaw N'YA ng mataas"Akala ko nung una e meron s'yang kaibigang espirituna sya lang ang nakakakita."

     I love Taylor Swift she's one of my favorite singer today.  I like her songs "You belong to me and Crazier". Her song "Untouchable was in my mix pod too. (look at the mix pod below). Not only she's pretty but she was also blessed with good voice.

Luneta Hotel Renovation

Hi Readers!

     I was browsing in the net until I read about the renovation of the old abandoned building of Luneta Hotel which is located in the heart of Ermita, Manila. It was my college time when I first saw this old abandoned building (my school was near in this place and this is also just beside the national park- Luneta Park) I like the exterior design which is look like a building from Europe, very classic type. The Good news it is under construction right now at least it will open soon after long year.

I hope not only the Luneta Hotel will be reconstructed, hope the other abandoned building in Manila will also Re-open so that it will not just look like a hunted building..

Mulberry-Girls new best friend!

     After reading so many blog in the net, I read lot of post of many women craving for Mulberry bag..same as your blogger I also want to have a Mulberry bag. I read good review about this bag like for having a good leather.  Some International celebrity or Hollywood artist were seen carrying their Mulberry bag. Like the Hermes Birkins fever the Mulberry  is also belong to top label today or a "new must have bag".  Below are some example of Mulberry I like:

     What is your favorite nail color? My nail of the day is one of my favorite nail color the Aquamarine. I love this color because my hand looked like I have fairer or whiter skin or "nakakaputi ang kulay" . The color also look like the same expensive nail polish like Orly. FOTD: St. Ives Peel-Off Hydroxy Masque

Hi readers!

      My features of the day is St. Ives Peel-Off Hydroxy Masque. The packaging stated that it removes impurities and gently exfoliates with an Alpha and Beta Hydroxy complex to leave skin soft, smooth and rejuvenated and that got my attention, I immediately tried this product. Below were some of my observation and experienced while using St. Ives Peel-Off Hydroxy Masque.

Pro's:

1. after the application  I noticed my skin became smooth.

2. some of my whiteheads was removed

3. nice packaging (tube)

4. easy to peel off

Con's:

1. after it dried I felt a bit tightness in my face. It felt like I have a hard time moving my facial muscles.

2. sticky

3.  messy

The product comes in a white plastic tube which stands upright on its flat flip-top cap.

Clear thick gel. While spreading this product into your face,
you will feel like your using a glue..

In this picture After my application you will noticed that
my face was shone looks like a mannequins skin

While Peeling-Off  (looks like a dried glue)

After using this product my skin became smooth.

In this picture: (left to right) Belle Purity Cotton Pads, St. Ives Peel Off Hydroxy Masque, Dove Body Wash in Moisturizing Milk and Ponds Cold Cream

Belle Purity Cotton Pads:

     I use this rectangular shape cotton pads every time I remove my make-up, sometimes I also use this while applying my toner I love this pads very usable. Available in supermarket, drugstore and department store.

     I want smooth skin...I believe in Dove..I am a long time user of this product specially the Dove Bar soap, Now I will try Body wash in Moisturizing Milk.

Ponds Cold Cream

     I am also loyal to this product the Ponds Cold Cream for removing my make-up its been long years, as I remember it was 8 years ago when I first used this product as a make-up remover and it really satisfy me. I will write a blog about this soon.

     Hope your first day of February went well. Tomorrow will be the Chinese new years eve and also the Candelaria or Candlemass (blessing of candles for catholic which is originally from Mexico) For my FOTD or feature of the day I created GOLD blog post. The Chinese new years theme was mostly color red and gold. Gold Symbolizes rich or good wealth.
