4 days of drinking Jollibee University Floats

Hi Readers!

One good thing in living the city is the advantage of accessibility in any establishment like fast food. Jollibee is just walking distance from our place, so every time we crave for fries, chicken joy and sundae we will just drop by, take out order and enjoy the food at home. This week my brother and I enjoyed the 4 flavors of Jollibee University Floats. Every day we drop by the store in pick one flavor, we drink this either after meal or just for snack.

Above: Red Watermelon and Yellow Dalandan
Below: Blue Bubble Gum and Green Apple
Red - of all the University Float this one is my favorite. I like the flavor of watermelon.
Yellow - yellow float for Dalandan flavor
Blue - blue float taste like bubble gum. For me this float is much sweeter than the other.
Green - green float for Apple flavor. Second to watermelon I also like this flavor.

Jollibee University Float is flavored drink top with vanilla sundae plus loaded with lots of cube ice to make this float more refreshing. At a friendly price of P28.00 (regular) P38.00 giant size.

So, what is your favorite Jollibee University Float?

Sunday Morning at Ayala Triangle Park

Hi Readers!

Last Sunday my niece and I walked around at Ayala Triangle Park. It wasn't really my plan to drop there. My mom went to the market early that morning but my 1 year old Venice (my niece) kept crying and she wanted to walk outside. I walked her until we reached Buendia Avenue and found a Bus route from LRT to Ayala, so that the time I decided why not to drop by in  Ayala Triangle Park (just beside Philippine Stock Exchange and the center of all the high raise building in Makati). Ayala Triangle Park was just 5 minutes away from our residential (I can even walk from our residential to this park but since I carried Venice that could be add some hard time for me).

The park is the best place to walk around, run, or jog around.
( I recommend you drop here every Sunday as early as 6 a.m. because they close the area along Ayala Avenue and Paseo de Roxas and turn this area as running field for those health buff or those who just want to jog around)

This is also best place for the family who just want to relax on weekend, for quality time.

You can see lot of Art pieces here like this one created by Gerardo Rueda.
This is also best place for weekdays you can drop by in any restaurant like Banapple, Bon Chon Chicken, Golden Spoon, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Amici, Pho24 and more..
(The white establishment is where the restaurant located-some part of this area is under renovation)
Gumapang sa damo para lang maka kuha ng good pic he!he!he! :)
I love the green field in the center of the city :)
Venice and me
With no make-up(tignan niyo naman ang kilay ko dyan, aww!!),
with only P50.00 on my wallet and  wearing a black Angry Bird T-shirt
As I said I didn't plan for this but getting there is worth it, I had a bonded time with my 1 year old little niece.
(Cute ni Venice dito, parang pa shy effect lang :)

This is my best Shot  :)

Pedring Aftermath

 Hi Readers!

Hows your day? Its raining cat and dog yesterday, I just stayed home and slept half of the day (love the cold atmosphere) but I felt sad after hearing the storm cause lot of damage especially near the coastal area. The same month last year where we also experience bad weather or strong storm as I remember this also the same month that we experience Milenyo and Ondoy (Milenyo was a strong storm that carry heavy rains and strong wind but Ondoy was the worst storm I witness so far, because our house has been damage because of high flood).

Best Thing About Being Single

Hi Readers!

Today's top trend in twitter was this tag word #BestThingAboutBeingSingle.

At dahil single din ako (and because I'm single) I answer this also...
On being single:
I can sleep alone in bed, walang kaagaw sa unan, may space sa kama na malaya kang hihiga ng kahit anong pwestong gusto mo.
No worrying - I just mean you don't need to over think or rigid thinking. Hindi ka paranoid sa kung anong iniisip ng partner mo in short wala yong mga Question n Ano? Bakit? Paano na kaya?
Can save time and money - lalabas ka lang kung kailan mo gusto meaning less gastos, you can do more productive things during your free time.

Here's what the other tweeted on Best Thing About Single:
  • Not having to call someone back and explain what your doing.
  • no drama -no fighting -no crying -no feelings -no confusion -no worries -no PROBLEMS
  • gives you a chance to find yourself and realize what you want in a relationship
  • I do what I want, how I want, where I want, with who I want, when I want. Answering to no one!
  • i could focus on my study without think about the guy
  •  is you're free .. you can do what u want .. no do's and don't ..
  • You can flirt with anyone you want oh yes and got freedom and the best thing no jelous boy friend.
  • You don't have to care about broken hearts.
  • don't have to remember important dates like anniversary or birthdays.
  •  you aint always gotta explain yourself
  •  I get MY time to MYSELF and there's no obligations!!

Happy Lemon

  Hi readers!

Yesterday my brother and I went to Rockwell Powerplant Mall, one of our purpose in visiting this mall was to try one of the famous milk tea in town, the Happy Lemon.
Happy Lemon first branch was in Greenhills but the place was to far from us. I'm happy because they open a branch here at the Rockwell (Makati), the place is more convenient.
A little background about Happy Lemon: They started in 2006 in Hong Kong and now has over 100 outlets spread across Hong Kong, China, Australia, Singapore and other countries. Happy Lemon is not only offering milk tea but they also offer specialty drinks, they have Lemon Series, Rock Salt and Cheese, Milk Tea, Mousse Spin, Cocoa and Coffee, Specialty Drinks and Fresh Tea.

Happy Lemon Rockwell Branch ( 2nd floor Archaeology Annex, Power Plant Mall, Rockwell )

Just like ordering in Starbucks; Fall in line in the cashier areathe cashier will ask for your order, your name and she/he will give you a black big chips (when your order is done it light ups and buzz). Get your order in claiming area then sit, sip, mingle with your friends and most of all enjoy your milk tea :)
Buzzer
Green Tea with Rock Salt and Cheese (Regular P80.00). Recommended Drink

I order Green Tea with Rock Salt and Cheese. After claiming this order the service crew told me it is best to consume Rock Salt Cheese without the straw so that I can enjoy it more and since the cheese is on top and it's fun licking off your upper lip. So I did, I sip it, then the first flavor I taste is the taste of condensed milk then the taste of green tea (green tea is my all time favorite flavor in beverage). I was looking for the salty taste but I didn't taste it. It is more on milky, sweet, chessy and green tea. They don't serve pastries or cakes but for this milk tea alone I already feel full (just like eating a dessert).

Coffee with Rock Salt and Cheese (Regular P90.00)
My brother order Coffee with Rock Salt and Cheese. (While sipping our Happy Lemon, were like a judge in a food show we exchange opinion about this drink). He told me that he also taste the condensed flavor in his first sip (we have common observation). The taste is like sweet, chessy and coffee flavor.
Happy Everyday with Happy Lemon

If your interested here's the Menu
Over-all experienced:
The place is good, if you're looking for alternative of Starbucks I recommend this place. The location is inside the mall very strategic you can stay here after strolling or if you are waiting for someone.

The drink is good also, as I said above even without pastries or cake you will feel full after consuming 1 cap (and even get addicted and order for one more)

The price is affordable. Much affordable than other Milk or Bubble Tea which price start from 100 plus and up. In Happy Lemon they offer as low as P60.00 and above.

The service is good I didn't wait for an hour for my order. I got my order for less than 30 minutes. The service crew were friendly too.

If I rate this from 1-5 (and 5 is the highest and 1 is the lowest)
My rate is 5

Happy Lemon Branch:

G/F Promenade, Greenhills, San Juan
4/F Eastwood Mall, Libis Quezon City
2/F Archaeology Annex, Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center, Makati City

Happy Everday!

Oops, we've hit a snag!

Hi Readers!

I'm sure some of you have Facebook account. Like me, I know one of your favorite in Facebook is the free on-line game. I played a lot of games in Facebook like Farmville, Cafe World, Salon Street and lately I played my favorite The Sims Social. Now I have a hard time logging in the game, a pop up message said "Oops, we've hit a snag. Try refreshing your browser ".

I don't know how to fix this problem, I researched it on the net, I read some forums and I discovered that lot of users also have the same problem.
Do you know before its been top game on facebook I already played The Sims in my PC? I remember playing it ten years ago, the first Sims I played was the original The Sims (there's no expansion pack that time).  The first The Sims has one town (yes, I became addicted in playing The Sim, more than 5 hours of facing my desktop computer just playing it grabe noh!). And I became more addicted when they launch their expansion pack the Livin Large, House Party, Hot Date, Vacation, Unleash, Superstar and Makin' Magic. Of all The Sim games made by EA (Electronic Art) one of my favorite is The Sim 3.

Photo from Source
I like The Sims 3 because you can walk around the neighborhood and even visit their home. It has a lot of furniture to choose from. More character treats added so it became exiting. If you want to install The Sims 3 in your laptop or PC you need higher specs. (specification). That's why I'm happy when The Sims Social has been added in Facebook games.

If you have Idea how to fix the problem please add comment :)

Review: Kokuryu Creamy PAT in Misty Peach shade

Hi Readers!

One time while walking in the mall I saw this foundation in the cosmetic section of Landmark, Makati the Kokuryu Creamy PAT. I already heard about Kokuryu products like lotion and astringent brand (even my mother told me once when they where young they used this product) but I was surprise when I saw they also have cosmetic or make-up line. First, I was hesitate to get one of their foundation because I don't know what or where it was made. I thought it was the same as other unknown cosmetic that were made in China but when I read the label it was under license in Kokuryu-Do Co Ltd, Tokyo, Japan but manufactured here in the Philippines. I grabbed this foundation for my blog reviews and after using this product I'm satisfied, it just like I'm using my regular foundation.
Kokuryu Creamy PAT
Cream Powder plus Foundation
What the packaging says:
It is a cream powder and foundation in one. Used to complete your make-up and give your face that satin smooth finish. Ideal for re-touching make-up.

Directions:
1. Clean face thoroughly
2. Condition skin with soft lotion (for nomal and dry skin) or Ash Lotion (for Oily skin)
3. Apply base cream
4. Apply cake or cream foundation.
5. Lightly dub on Kokuryu Creamy PAT using the shade suited to your skin tone.

For color guidelines:
Light Skin:    1. Bare Bisque     2. Earthy Beige
Sallow Skin:  1. Blushing Pink  2. Peach Brandy
Dark Skin:     1. Misty Peach    2. Sun Tan

Pro(s) - what I like:
  • One thing I've noticed, after I used the product my face became smooth and like a satin finish look.
  • It doesn't look powdery, flakey or cakey.
  • I notice this is light compare to other foundation that was too heavy. Heavy foundation can cause clogs. Clogs can cause pimples and whiteheads.
  • Pocket friendly it only cost P112.75 pesos
  • I like the black packaging it reminds me of Chanel Foundation. I also like how the sponge separate to the foundation (check the image below)
  • I like the scent. Maybe for some they hate the wild scent but it's still depend on how your nose reacts to the scent.
  • With manufacturing date at the back of packaging.

The top is the white transparent separator which where to put sponge,
while below is the foundation
Con(s) - what I don't like
  • I don't like the sponge. I felt a little harsh when using this so my tip use powder or kabuki brush instead.
  • Easily fades. As the packaging says this is Ideal for re-touching make-up. Every now and then you have to check if the foundation fades already.
  • For staying power or lasting power, you need to apply first the base cream or a cream foundation. You can apply this foundation alone but the result is low to medium coverage.

Final Conclusion:

I don't experienced any break-out while using this product plus it gave me a satin smooth finished look I definitely recommend this product.
Using Kokuryu Creamy PAT in Misty Peach Shade
Kokuryu is available in Landmark, SM Department Store, and MarketMarket.

Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm

Hi Readers!

Its ber month already (ang bilis talaga ng panahon) and the next day you wake up it's Christmas time again...In ber month we almost feel the cold weather this is one reason of having chapped lips. Chapped lips are the result of lips for being too dry. Chapped lips can also  result from nutritional deficiencies, dehydration, over exposure to the sun and cold and windy conditions. Our skin has lost its moisture retention capacity as a consequence, our lips become easily chapped. One common suggestion for treatment of chapped lips is applying Lip Balm and that will be my features of the day (FOTD). This product is one popular brand used by many  celebrities and not only celebrity maybe some of your friends or colleagues have this also the Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm.
What the packaging says:
The unique formula of Carmex lip balm help to soothe, moisturise  and relieve dry, chapped lips caused by environmental factors - resulting in soft, healthy-looking lips.

Direction:
Apply liberally and evenly as often as neccessary. Especially useful before and after exposure to sunlight, wind or low temperatures. Recommended before and after lipstick application to preserve and restore moisture.

Ingredients:
Petrolatum, Lanolin, Cetyl Esters, Theobroma Cacao, Seed Butter, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Cera Microcristallina, Camphor, Menthol, Salicylic Acid, Fragrance, Vanillin.

Pro's (What I like):

  • I like the minty flavor and cooling effect after the application (give relaxing sensation on lips)
  • Affordable it only cost P99.75 per 7.5 g jar
  • The packaging include expiration date
  • Helps to moisturize and relieve dry, chapped lips
  • No waxy-feel (unlike petroleum jelly or other lip balm product)
  • I like the packaging very simple just dip your finger unlike the other lip balm that came as same as like lipstick packaging. This is also very handy, can fit to my make-up purse.

Con's (What I don't like):
  • One thing I don't like in this product is the scent. It smells like the mild scent version of Tiger Balm (do you know what is that? the one our parents use to relieve body pain, might be they have the same menthol ingredient)
  • One application is not enough if you have super dry lips, you need to re-apply until it heals.
Carmex Moisturizing Lip Balm
Recommendation:

Yes, I recommend this lip balm not only it was affordable I also like how it helps my lip to bring back it moisture after experiencing dryness. This brand was used by many people, not only for ladies but some men used his product as well. I'm planning to purchase another Carmex product, the one with cherry flavor, I'll just wait till I finished this jar or after it get empty. Actually I have lot of lip balm and one of that was the Blistex lip balm (which I also had a reviews about this product) and my favorite Armada Moisturising Protective Lipbalm 60+ from VMM Hypoallergenic.

Carmex Lip Balm is available in Landmark, PCX, Shopwise for only P99.75

To know more about Carmex just visit their website or click here.
