Philippine Fashion Week Spring Summer 2015 - EsAc by Jun-Jun Cambe

   I attended Philippine Fashion Week Spring Summer 2015 at Hall 4, SMX Convention Center-Mall of Asia, last night. For the first designer, take a look for Jun-Jun Cambe collection. It was a traditional Filipiñiana and Barong with the twist of modern style. Fabrics were made of sinamay, cocoon, cotton and piña.

Project Runway Philippine Season 3 Winner

Hi readers!

   Last Sunday July 01, my family watched Project Runway Philippine Season 3 Finale on etc, yes my family watched it including my 2 years old niece Venice whose cheering for her favorite contestant (^_^). The Grand winner of PRP3 is Ms. Milka Quin Redoble.

About Milka:

   Milka is 34 years old from Pasig City. She is an Online Fashion Entrepreneur, owner of Milkaquin.com. She's a mom and devoted wife. After several successful years in banking, she quit her job and switched to something she love - fashion.  Milka studied at Slims Fashion School and took a short course at La Salle International School for Fashion. She creates clothes for women who go for outfit that are sexy but not vulgar, very wearable but with a touch of class.

Judging time.  Designers:  Neil Claveria Jr. (30,  Camarines Sur) Cheetah Rivera (24, Manila) Amor Albano (28, Laog City) and Milka Quin Redoble (34, Pasig City). Judges: Host/Model Tweetie De Leon-Gonzalez, Fashion Designer Rajo Laurel, Columnist/Model Apples Aberin  and Guest Judge Lesley Mobo.

Milka got teary after Tweetie announced her as the winner of PRP3.

  Aside from Milka I also love Cheetah Rivera creation/collection. Very edgy and the style was like McQueen design. Milka's creation has more deep inspiration.

Project Runway Philippines Season 3

Hi Readers!

   Since 2008, I'm an avid viewer of Project Runway Philippines (read my blog here). Project Runway Philippines is a reality t.v. series which focuses on fashion design (Philippine adaptation of Project Runway that was hosted by Heidi Klum). The contestants compete with each other to create the best clothes and are restricted in time, materials and theme. Their designs are judged, and one or more designers are eliminated each week. 

   The 3rd season of Project Runway Philippines will be premiere tomorrow, March 25. The host of the said program will be the former model Ms. Tweetie de Leon-Gonzales (the host before was my favorite model Teresa Herrera). Rajo Laurel (fashion designer) and Apples Aberin (model and columnist) will again judge the competition. My favorite Jojie Lloren (fashion designer) remained as mentor, since season one pa lang favorite ko na siya :)
