My Vanity Table :)

Hi readers!

Last night, while doing my beauty regimen, I looked around my room and decided to take some photos of my vanity table. My vanity table is one of my favorite area of my room. I make sure to clean this area. This is also the area where I write lots of stuff like my draft for my blog. But the most important use of this area is where my beauty rituals were prepared. Every time I wake up in the morning, the first thing I do is to check myself in the mirror.  :)

Flawlessly Whitening

Hi readers!

I'm using Flawless Whitening Toner for three months now (I started using this product only last May). The reason I purchased this product was because I want my skin to be lightened or become whiter, though I'm not really hoping for a snow white skin but I wanted a different glow. I have a morena skin (common skin type of a Filipina – medium brown color). I tried many different products that promised they will give a whiter skin but as I said they just give promises so I decided to go directly to a dermatologist. In Flawless center, the consultation fee is 300.00 (three hundred pesos) It's best to discuss to your Derma what you really want on your skin. For me, I wanted to have a lighter and glowing skin.

On the label of this whitening toner: its promise to lighten the skin, helps restore the pH balance and minimizes the appearance of future discoloration and hyperpigmentation.

My review:

Pros: (What I like)
1. It does lighten the skin but not that noticeable.
2. Has a shiny effect on the skin but not an oily look.
3. I felt my skin became smooth
4. Affordable it only cost P 290.00 pesos or $ 6.45 dollar for 120ml.

Cons: (What I don’t like)
1. After applying, I felt a mild itchiness and harshness
2. Also after applying, my skin felt dry so I have to apply moisturizer immediately.
3. Slow result

Maybe three months of used was just a short span for the result, I hope before my bottle become emptied I'll see the result I wanted. But If not, I will go back to Flawless Center again but this time I will ask for a different product. I am not disappointed with Flawless Services because they have good customer service especially the front desk personnel, they respond to the client questions politely and their staff really Flawless beautiful.

Flawless Center located at 2ND Floor Mall of Asia, Megamall (for store location check their website)

Yummy Blistex Lip Balm

Hi readers!

What catches my eyes the first time I read the label of Blistex Lip Balm was the flavor of Raspberry Lemonade Blast. I am really looking for a good lip balm for my next review. What are the important factors that I considered when buying a lip balm? First, does the product give you a moisturize lips after applying it especially during hot or cold weather or when our lips experience dryness. Second, does the product have SPF that will help protect your lips against UV rays or sun exposure. Third, does the product has safe ingredients, some people have allergy to certain chemicals. And also when buying a lip balm product, always check the expiration date because some expired lip balm taste like waxy and has sticky feel.

After buying this product, I tested it right away. One stand out really was the flavor of Raspberry, plus, at first use I noticed that the chops on my lips had lessened. I've been using Blistex for months now until today I'm still using this product.

Ingredients:
Dimethicone - know as skin protectant
Octinoxane and oxybenzone - sunscreen

Blistex is available at THE LANDMARK (Makati) and in Watson's Stores

The Blistex product cost only P64.75 pesos (sixty four and seventy five cents. pesos) or $ 1.44 dollar

For more information about Blistex you can check their Facebook  here or their  website here.

Swimming Break in August at Laiya, Batangas

Hi readers!

BATANGAS - Last Saturday, my family spent our weekend in Laiya, Batangas. Even it's raining month here in the Philippine, we were lucky because the weather has been just in cloudy condition. We left Makati by 6:00 in the morning and we got there by 9:45 a.m. almost 4 hours of travel. We stayed in Casa Remo resort, it's cheaper than the other nearby resort and they have friendly staff too. If you're interested you can check their website at http://casaremolaiya.multiply.com/ or for more information about Casa Remo you can contact 631-0475 and look for Beth.

How to get there: Drive straight to South Expressway (Batangas Exit) then right to Star Tollway (Lipa Exit) then straight to Lipa City look for the Mc Donald then straight ahead look for P. Torres Street (look for the mercury drugs) Then look for Padre Garcia Market. Drive to San Juan Batangas town proper, drive straight to the San Juan Municipal Hall then Barangay Laiya (This is really a long driving adventure :) see map below for more guidance.

We enjoyed our vacation even it was only over-night stay. Well, hope in the future I can revisit  the place again. I know many people had already discovered this place but I would like to share this to those who still don't know that there's a wonderful place in San Juan, Batangas :)
