Healthy Benefits of Cranberry

Hi Readers!

     I love drinking cranberry juice, before I really don't know the benefits of this fruit but after checking it in the net I'm glad it offers so many healthy benefits. Here some list of health benefits of cranberry juice:
  • Avoid UTI (urinary truck infection) - the cranberry juice produce hippuric acid in the urine. The hippuric acid acidifies the urine and prevents bacteria from sticking to the wall of the bladder. (source: Organic Facts )
  • Help Obese people (like me :) - These have an emulsifying effect on the fat deposits in our body. So it is good for people who want to shed those extra kilos (source: Organic Facts )

  • Prevent formation of kidney stones
  • Strengthens bone and teeth

     Theres a lot of benefits you can check through the net. This afternoon I went to the nearest grocery and found this cranberry juice in tetra pack (usually cranberry juice comes in a big bottle or in gallon). The Apple & Eve Cranberry juice is available in SM hypermarket or supermarket. In 200 ml tetra pack cost P30.00 pesos.

  1. I want to try this but it seem like I always forget :D it's not advisable to drink this everyday though because its acidic. I think that's the only down side about cranberry juice. Still, I want to try. how does it taste?

  2. Hi Tessa this cranberry juice taste sour but a little sweetness like a grape juice. Yes it is not advisable to drink every day, over dosage of this is Acidic.
