The Phantom of the Opera

Hi readers!

I can't remember how many times I had watched The Phatom of the Opera (2004 film) but I'm pretty sure, I watched it more than 10 times (yes you read it right, more than 10 timesssssss!) My sister has a copy of that film on her ipod. I love all the songs, nakaka-LSS (last song syndrome). The Phantom of the Opera was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber. 'The Phantom of the Opera' in 2004 film was portrayed by Gerald Butler (the phatom), the beautiful singer and actress Emmy Rossum (she's my favorite, she portrayed the role of Christine Daae) and Patrick Wilson (Raol the Vicomte the Chagny). To know more about the film you can read it here

Now, if you are interested and want to watch  'The Phantom of the Opera' there was ongoing musical stage show at CCP Main Theather. The show started last Saturday, August 25 and it will end on September 30 (due to  popular demand, they extend it). Ticket prices range from P1,820 to 7,280 (premium seat). For more info read it here

Here are the list of my favorite songs in 'The Phantom of the Opera'

Simple Birthday Celebration 2012

Hi readers!

Sorry I haven't been posting a lot on here, I have been busy since the last week of July (yah, I know you're tired of the same excuses). This is just a quick post about my birthday. My birthday was last August 10. I had a simple celebration with my family and it was same as my last birthday, as usual Mang Inasal na naman ang food. Actually, that day I'm not feeling well and my bipolar attitude attacked again. I'm on a nostalgic mode, I can't help thinking of random thoughts especially about getting age, family and even about my love life. I don't know if it is just me, but getting age started me to I worry about the future so much. I still have a lot of things that I wanted to do, I just hope God grants me all those things before I die. But then, I'm thankful that God gave me continues blessing and people, whose there for me to support me and cheer me up in times of difficulties. At age thirty something :) I also learned lot of valuable lesson in life (I just hope I have time to share it with you), those lesson helps me to build the character that I have today. To my family and friends, thank you for continuing support and for your time. (^_^)

Gifts I received on my birthday
Printed long skirt with belt from my sister. And she also gave me money, to buy a gift I want (yes she's so generous, Thanks sis!(^_^)
Silver necklace and bracelet rosary from my mother
...and ta dah! a Melissa Vivienne Westwood Lady Dragon Shoes
Thank you Veron, Mama and to my brother Leo.

Thanks also to all my families and friends who sent there greetings (^_^)

God Bless Us All!

Habagat (West Moonsoon Rain) 2012

Hi readers!

This post is a little late, I'll be sharing to you guys what was our place looked like during that habagat or west moonsoon rain that hit Luzon,  last August 08, 2012. We're lucky the flood in front of our residential was not that high, only gutter deep but for some other part of our town, they've experienced above-the-knee floods. Some part of Luzon and in the other area of Metro Manila, they had experienced high floods, as high as 2 storey of a building or a house. The following photos were shots of my brother Leo (Thanks bro!). In times like this we feel the spirit of 'bayanihan' or 'cooperative endeavor'.

Batangas corner Gil Puyat Ave (or Buendia)
Other side of these street is Emilia street (where Cash and Carry Mall is located)

A car tried to cross the street.

Filipino is really innovative. They know how to find income despite of heavy rain.
In this photo you can see those men created a man-made-boat for people who want to cross the street in exchange of a small amount of peso.

Our street experience gutter deep flood.
On the lighter side: I saw this picture on facebook, truely that Filipino can survive. (^_^)
