Random Pic

Hi Readers!

Sorry for being MIA for 2 weeks. I have been busy doing some personal errands and other important matters. My family will venture for a new business again, its about clothing, I'll announce that as soon as everything's ready. Hope you support us (^_^).

As of now, let me share to you some random things I received and some activities I did:

1. More blessing came 2nd week of January I received a Leopard print tops from my mom.
(I hope I have time to go out and wear it)
2. My sister gave me this make-up (I don't know where she got it).
Dama make-up with lipgloss and eye shadow.
3. I promise to less my craving for chocolate this year but I am a chocolate lover (chocoholic)
I can't control eating chocolate especially during stress . Awww sorry!!! (dark chocolate naman :P
1. (mobile pic) It was my first time to commute thru a bus going to Bonifacio Highstreet. Short story: Kamuntik na akong maligaw papuntang highstreet. First I don't know where was the bus station going to The Fort, malapit lang pala siya sa pagbaba ng MRT Ayala station. Second may East and West bound pala ang destination so if your going to Highstreet sa West bound na bus kayo sasakay, ticket cost P12.00 (para lang akong tourist na naliligaw. 2. (Mobile Picture) Bonifacio Global City (BGC) 3. New Saizen Eyelash Curler I bought in Saizen, Market Market.
1. (mobile pic.) 2nd week of January, I received Olay beauty set. (I already blog about this read here) I used the night cream up to now so far wala pa naman akong nakikitang changes 2. New bag - Envelope bag (aww finally I got one, matagal ko ng wish na magkaroon niyan (^_^) pasensiya na sa floral bedsheet na background he!he!he!. 3. 3rd week of January, I received my Belle de Jour Lifestyle card (excited na akong gamitin ang mga coupons and magattend ng events nila :
For this year, I started eating healthy foods. 1 to 3 serving of fruits a day (basta laging may fruits)
Before I crave for sweet desserts (like cakes, leche plan etc...o sige na nga isama na rin ang chocolate) after a meal, now I tried to replace sweets with fresh fruits (hay naku sana lang hanggang December 2012 ganito ako). I started to eat also vegetable pero di pa time para sabihin na vegetarian  na ako. As much as vegetable is serve on our table I make sure na uunahing kung piliin ang veges over fried meats. And also for this year I started feeding my soul. I started reading this book and it really help my spiritual side "The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren". I got this from my brother Leo. Nice book, You should read this too. :)
Last week I watched this video on You tube which made me cry...

Lesson I Learn Today

Hi Readers!

While checking my Facebook,  I saw  Olive Facebook post (Olive was my classmate way back in college). I love the story very much it really touch me. Please take time to read this story....

One young academically excellent person went to apply for a managerial position in a big company.

He passed the first interview, the director did the last interview, made the last decision.

The director discovered from the CV that the youth's academic achievements were excellent all the way, from the secondary school until the postgraduate research, never had a year when he did not score.

The director asked, "Did you obtain any scholarships in school?" the youth answered "none".

The director asked, " Was it your father who paid for your school fees?"

The youth answered, "My father passed away when I was one year old, it was my mother who paid for my school fees.

The director asked, " Where did your mother work?" The youth answered, "My mother worked as clothes cleaner. The director requested the youth to show his hands. The youth showed a pair of hands that were smooth and perfect.

The director asked, " Have you ever helped your mother wash the clothes before?" The youth answered, "Never, my mother always wanted me to study and read more books.

Furthermore, my mother can wash clothes faster than me.

The director said, "I have a request. When you go back today, go and clean your mother's hands, and then see me tomorrow morning.*

The youth felt that his chance of landing the job was high. When he went back, he happily requested his mother to let him clean her hands. His mother felt strange, happy but with mixed feelings, she showed her hands to the kid.

The youth cleaned his mother's hands slowly. His tear fell as he did that.

It was the

first time he noticed that his mother's hands were so wrinkled, and there were so many bruises in her hands. Some bruises were so painful that his mother shivered when they were cleaned with water.

This was the first time the youth realized that it was this pair of hands that washed the clothes everyday to enable him to pay the school fee. The bruises in the mother's hands were the price that the mother had to pay for his graduation, academic excellence and his future.

After finishing the cleaning of his mother hands, the youth quietly washed all the remaining clothes for his mother.

That night, mother and son talked for a very long time.

Next morning, the youth went to the director's office.

The Director noticed the tears in the youth's eyes, asked: " Can you tell me what have you done and learned yesterday in your house?"

The youth answered, " I cleaned my mother's hand, and also finished cleaning all the remaining clothes'

The Director asked, " please tell me your feelings."

The youth said, Number 1, I know now what is appreciation. Without my mother, there would not the successful me today. Number 2, by working together and helping my mother, only I now realize how difficult and tough it is to get something done. Number 3, I have come to appreciate the importance and value of family relationship.

The director said, " This is what I am looking for to be my manager. I want to recruit a person who can appreciate the help of others, a person who knows the sufferings of others to get things done, and a person who would not put money as his only goal in life. You are hired."

Later on, this young person worked very hard, and received the respect of his subordinates. Every employee worked diligently and as a team. The company's performance improved tremendously.

A child, who has been protected and habitually given whatever he wanted, would develop "entitlement mentality" and would always put himself first. He would be ignorant of his parent's efforts. When he starts work, he assumes that every person must listen to him, and when he becomes a manager, he would never know the sufferings of his employees and would always blame others. For this kind of people, who may be good academically, may be successful for a while, but eventually would not feel sense of achievement. He will grumble and be full of hatred and fight for more.
If we are this kind of protective parents, are we really showing love or are we destroying the kid instead?*

You can let your kid live in a big house, eat a good meal, learn piano, watch a big screen TV. But when you are cutting grass, please let them experience it. After a meal, let them wash their plates and bowls together with their brothers and sisters. It is not because you do not have money to hire a maid, but it is because you want to love them in a right way. You want them to understand, no matter how rich their parents are, one day their hair will grow gray, same as the mother of that young person. The most important thing is your kid learns how to appreciate the effort and experience the difficulty and learns the ability to work with others to get things done.

Good day to all, hope you learn something from the story...

Happy New Year!
Welcome 2012

Those pictures were taken in our street. Unlike last, last new years eve many of our neighbors block our street with street party but last night everybody made new years eve just as a simple celebration (hindi festive ang dating). Dati ang street namin maingay, masaya marami talaga ang nagpapaputok but last night few neighbors lang ang may firecrackers. Dati kapag gumising ka kinabukasan after new years eve makalat ang kalsada at sobrang usok as in akala mo bumaba na ang ulap sa daan, ngayon suprise ang linis ng kalye at hindi mausok. Anyway I'll welcome 2012 with a big hug ( please be kind to me, 2012 :), thank you na rin kay 2011 because I learned many of lessons, gained some experienced and met new wonderful people. Before 2012 I went to the church and attended a mass, sent some greetings to my friends on Twitter and Facebook. I have a new mobile number, kaya hindi ko na natext yong ibang friends ko kasi nasa Globe sim card ko yong number nila, nag-switch na ako sa Sun after 10 years of using Globe (hindi open line ang new cellphone ko :). During new years eve my mom cooked grilled pork (inihaw na liempo), she also made rellenong bangus, macaroni salad while I bought donuts (para bilog bilog ang peg! -pamahiin ko nga naman..ops alam ko na iniisip niyo siguro na-i-imagine niyo rin na nakasuot ako ng polka dots? Correct, naka polka dots nga ako he!he!he! swerte daw yon :). Today Jan. 01, 2012 my mom cooked paella, rellenong bangus, shanghai roll for our lunch. Unang araw sa taon wala akong ginawa kung hindi kumain, ilalagay ko pa naman sa new years resolution ko ang pagpapayat he!he!he!

Tara kain muna tayo! nakakagutom magblog :)
