H&M Spring 2012-Designer Collaboration With Marni

Hi Readers!

This is what I say about "Great People means Great Ideas"

H&M announced a new collaboration with the Italian brand Marni for Spring 2012. The collection will feature all-over print in strong colours all intended to be worn together in layer that both match and clash. For women, the colours are vivid and the prints are bold, be they African inspired or simple colour blocks. For men, the colours and fabrics are softened.

This is another great fashion collection for 2012...

Battle of Milk Tea Part 1 (Bubbatealicious, Zagu and Happy Lemon)

Hi readers!

I love drinking milk tea; this is one of my favorite refreshment. Now a day's there's lot of milk tea available in the market (yes we were invaded with lot of store offering milk tea). Bubble tea is the name for pearl milk tea and other similar tea and juice beverages that originated in tea shops in Taiwan during the 1980's. Bubble teas contain a tea base mixed with fruit or fruit syrup and milk. Ice-blended versions of the drinks usually in fruit flavors. One of the famous categories of bubble tea is "pearl milk tea" it was also known as "boba milk tea" in some parts of America. Pearl milk tea has small chewy balls made of tapioca starch called Pearls. (source)

Now I'll be sharing to you my reviews for 3 Milk teas (consider this as part 1 because I'll review more Milk tea in the future)

Rate: 5-Excellent 4-Very Satisfactory 3-Satisfactory 2-Need Improvement 1-Poor

Category: Taste, Price, and Store location and service

Bubbatealicious:

Choco Milk Tea small size cost P45.00 - Bubbatealicious stall at 168 Mall
Taste (4/5): I ordered Choco Milk Tea although there's the flavor of choco I can still taste the traditional milk tea flavor. It taste good and not too sweet. I only observed that the ice they put in my milk tea melted past (or maybe the service crew put few ice). After half cap I find it not refreshing anymore (so my advice if you really want cold drink/very cold refreshment ha! then ask the crew to put some more ice :).

Price (5/5): They offer lots of variety of milk tea and what I like about Bubbatealicious they offer lower price, compare to other Bubble tea store. I got my Choco Milk tea in small size for P 45.00 only (pocket friendly isn't it? :)

Store Location/Services (4/5) they have many branches like in SM MOA, SM Fairview, Megamall, SM North Edsa and 168 Mall (guys this is the only information I know about their locations, I don't really know if they have other branch around the metro). I bought this milk tea in 168 Mall (Divisoria, Manila) if you ask where exactly in 168 they're located in food court beside Wendy's stall (3rd floor).

Zagu
Pearl Milk Tea baby size cost P33.00 - Zagu stall in SM Hypermarket Makati
Taste (3.5/5): Cold but tasteless milk tea. Not as good as other milk tea but this one is not too sweet (good for people who like sweet less milk tea). Siguro sa dami ko ng nainom na milk tea alam ko na yong lasa ng pure milk tea hindi masyadong matapang hindi rin masyadong matabang. Matabang siya, pero pwede ng pang tawid uhaw.

Price (5/5): Affordable and they offer different size from Baby size (small), medium and large. The Zagu pearl milk tea I'm holding cost P33.00 only (ganyan ka liit ang baby size)

Store Location/Services (5/5): Because Zagu has many store branches I rate them 5. Very accessible even a small market have Zagu store (yon nga lang I don't know if all store offer pearl milk tea). I bought my Zagu pearl milk tea in Sm Hypermarket-Makati very near to our place plus I like the friendly service of their crew.

Happy Lemon
Milk Tea with black Pearl Sago regular size cost P75.00 - Happy Lemon in Rockwell, Makati
Taste (5/5): I love the taste, real flavor of milk tea. Not too sweet and not too much flavor of tea just right taste. (Very addicting :) as like as my previous review about Happy Lemon this one also made me feel full after consuming 1 tumbler. (nakaka busog :)

Price (5/5): Affordable. For me Happy Lemon is an alternative of Starbucks plus they offer lots of beverages as lower as P60 pesos. They offer from regular size to large size.

Store Location/Services (5/5): As I research, so far they have 4 branch here in the Metro 1 in Greenhills, 1 in Rockwell, Eastwood and in Trinoma hope they expand more (hope they also open their branch in Cebu and Davao for all my readers who live there, so they can also experience drinking this milk tea :). I love the service too; good thing Happy Lemon's located in Mall so while waiting for friends you can use the free wifi while you enjoy your favorite milk tea :).

Guys that's all for now, till my next review of another Milk Tea's in town :)

VMV Hypoallergenic Velvet Matte Lipstick in Copa

Hi Readers!

My FOTD (features of the day) is about VMV Hypoallergenic Velvet Matte Lipstick in Copa shade.

Pros:
1. Highly pigmented
2. Unlike other matte lipstick this one is not too drying (but I still advice you to put lip balm first before applying matte lipstick)
3. I like the packaging. Box packaging is recyclable, very Eco friendly. "Printed in soy-based ink in 100% PCW, Recycled and Chlorine-Free paper". While the silver container look sophisticated.
4. With "Best Before and Manufacturing date"
5. Good staying/lasting power. I applied it at 1:45 p.m., in between I ate bread and drunk water, and at 5:00p.m. as I checked it again and it still there.

Cons:
I can't think of any. Maybe for some this lipstick is a bit pricey. It cost P1,000 pesos, but for me I think this is one good investment :) I can wear this lipstick in any occasion even just at home :)

Available at:
VMV Hypoallergenic Boutiques and Kiosk

Manila Ocean Park - Oceanarium

Hi Readers!

MANILA - And so my blog life goes on...Now here's my Part 2 of our Manila Ocean Park adventure (medyo late lang sorry). If you want to read my previous entry about Manila Ocean Park click here. Warning I attached lots of photo's (as in marami ha!) on this blog so sorry for those who have slow internet connection or slow PC/Laptop. Just sit, relax and enjoy reading :)
I'm really excited to share with you my remarkable experienced in visiting this marine theme park. So tara na pasyal tayo!
1. Entrance - kala mo daan pa puntang C.R. lang ha!ha!ha! :)
2. As you get in, staff will get your ticket (the girl wearing yellow t-shirt) then you'll see a big graffiti in the wall (the girl wearing red t-shirt is Rose, she took some picture of graffiti)

3. Nag-aapela pa si mama sa kumukuha ng ticket na dapat free entrance si Venice kaso lagpas siya ng 2 feet (she's so tall at her age)
4.  This is what you see upon entering Oceanarium. Ma-aamaze kayo sa una niyong makikita kasi ...
...huge fish talaga ang sasalubong sa inyo.
(as in big ha! look at my sister hand ganyan kalaki yong fish)
Giant Arowana
Si Mama amaze pa rin sa laki ng mga marine creatures na nasa loob ng aquarium na ito
while ang sister ko naman ay walang tigil ang kaka picture eh simula pa lang naman ng adventure namin sa Oceanarium.
More picture :) Mukhang haggardousss na ang lola niyo dito mukha talagang puyat :) Look walang make-up...walang tulog
Stairs going to Bahura
Rain forest (there's a mini waterfall-check the middle picture above)
1. Lolong???? no ibang crocodile 'to. (may isa pa akong nakitang crocodile dyan) makikita mo yan habang paakyat ka sa hagdaan 2. One of their rule is don't use camera flash 3. perana 4. pwedeng magpa-picture dito as I remember the photo fee cost P50.00 feysos 5. My best shot :) 6. parang tilapia lang 7. close encounter with mini shark and other fish 8. pwedeng hawakan yang starfish.
Before you enter Bahura you'll see this reminders (Oceanarium House Rule) 1. NO flash photography 2. NO food and drinks  3.  NO running 4. NO smoking 5. NO pets allowed.

So tara pasok na tayo....scroll down.....
BAHURA - BAHURA means sand
1. I like that polka dots fish (fashionista lang ang peg!) No that fish called Clown Triggerfish
2. Cory's fish kasi yellow fish :)
3.  Longhorn Cowfish o Baka-baka (may horns o sungay kasi ang fish na ito, yon ang kakaiba sa kanya) ang life span niya 8 years.
4,5,8 - mga best shot ko for close shot
6. Common Seahorse - ang life span pala ng sea horse ay tumatagal ng up to 4-6 years (before I thought mabilis sila namamatay)
7. Shrimpfish or Razorfish - (ganyan talaga sila pahaba)
Wala ba kayong makita???? kasi..........
ito sila --Flashlight Fish..(totoong nailaw ang mga mata nila).
1. Lobster (my best close-up shot :)
2. Reef stonefish - did you know that fish can survive out of water for up to 20 hours.
3.  Snowflake Moray EEL "Igat" - with life span of 20 years. It is a large fish with no pectoral or pelvic fins, but has an extremely strong body that is uses to swim through the water like a snake does on land. The fish has a big mouth that packs a powerful bite. The body color consists of black and white patchy stripes and blotches which is where the Eel gets its common name "snowflake".
4. Blackspotted Pupper or "Butete - with life span of 12-25 years. It has a round shape with a head and snout which at times make it look like a seal or a dog. (highly poisonous to eat)
Manila Bay Tank
This tank contains unfiltered water pumped in directly from Manila Bay. Unlike the filtered sea water seen in the rest of the oceanarium tanks, here you can observe how the bay water looks like in its untreated state. It has been estimated that everyday, five million gallons of untreated sewage. One to two million kilos of toxic and hazardous wastes find their way into Manila Bay. However, despite its being extremely polluted, this water is still capable of supporting a variety of aquatic life such as mussels, barnacles, anemones, and marine worms.---sayang ang Manila Bay pero good things na rin may marine creatures pa rin ang nabubuhay dito tulad ng tahong.

This section is called Laot
Ang laki lang ng mga fish...my eyes enjoy the view...wala akong nasabi kung hindi wow amazing (maybe those people were amazed too)
Si Mama nag-e-enjoy sa fish parang gusto ng iuwi sa amin :)
Fish look like as size as my niece size (tignan niyo yong pic.)
Ngayon pasok tayo sa Buhay na Karagatan
Inside the tunnel. See the background marami ang kumukuha din ng picture, pero you know what may mga pasaway pa rin ng gumagamit ng flash :(

Fish form a circular direction (yes, paikot-ikot lang sila dyan)
Siguro tong mga pating na 'to gutom na :) (look like shark's were hungry)
(my brother Leo sat beside the shark aquarium)
My best shot

I know some of you think that the entrance was quite or a bit expensive, but believe me once you enter Oceanarium P400 pesos entrance fee is worth to pay for. The satisfying part was gaining some knowledge about marine life and discovering existence of the underwater creatures that grow as huge as we ever think off. . .
Thank you :)

I'm here to INSPIRE!

Hi readers!

How's your day? Actually I don't know how to start this blog entry...my heart still carries a little hardship but I don't want to create a hate blog but instead I'll share with you the lesson I learned from that one "INCIDENT". Almost every day I check my Facebook account (FB)- this is my way to communicate with my friends and for us blogger this is our way to communicate with our followers. Last Tuesday I saw an old friend video post...oh well I don't want to elaborate the story but all things end up with an argument. Tuesday night that little argument bothered me, I keep on thinking why he said something like that? Of course, it's not the issue about my grammar but how he treated me. The next morning Wednesday I was totally burst out why? First I opened my Yahoo Messenger account and I saw someone's  status that pertains to that "INCIDENT" (so everybody knew about it?) then I log-in to my FB defending myself . Hater ang tingin ko sa taong yon that moment (syempre kahit sino naman yon ang feeling mo) I end up saying all my capabilities, all things I achieved and comparing his status to my level and this is the big NO..NO... na gagawin niyo rin sa iba. Until last night I kept remembering that moment then all of a sudden god gave me a sign...paano??? dahil sa isang t-shirt na may tatak ng Baguio.
Last Friday Mama and Veron's family went to Baguio. My brother and I were left to man the house. Dahil mag isa ako sa kwarto syempre nag senti ang lola niyo! :) First na pumasok sa isip ko buti pa sila Veron pupuntang Baguio ooohh...but to make the story short I end up comparing myself to others...laging may question na bakit siya ganito? bakit siya may ganoon?...and to add to the story I was always looking for something else that I don't have than to the things I have right now. And dumating din sa point na I was questioning gods plan for me... yes dumating sa point na yon and yes medyo nahihiya ako after all the good things happen in my life I'm still not satisfied...siguro kung si God kakausapin ako ngayon ng one on one, he will tell me "Kulang pa ba Glenn?".........so ngayon balik tayo sa last night....
That time din I realized na I done important things na. Ang masasabi ko lang ngayon mas blessed pa pala ako! I learned so many lesson talaga sa isang "INCIDENT" lang.  1. Siguro gusto lang sabihin ni God sa akin na" for you to learned the lesson at para na rin maminimize mo ang paggamit mo ng FB bigyan mo naman ng panahon si Venice (he!he! guilty ako dyan-especially during weekend I used my laptop almost 5-6 hours) 2. Iba't -iba ang uri ng tao so "you can't please everybody" 3. God will use someone to be the instrument, so he can answer your question (just open your heart :).

About Blogging
Now I call the hater as "God's instrument" -(o ayan ha mas magandang pakinggan yan :). God's instrument opens up an issue regarding with my grammar. First of all I would like to Thank you because you noticed I used wrong grammar it just mean to me that you read my blog...And I really appreciate reader like you....So, so, so THANK YOU VERY MUCH! (dagdag hit ka rin sa webpage ko). Second yes Grammar is my waterloo :) sometimes I forgot to used s, ed, convert the past tense but sinong writer ang hindi nagkaroon ng mali sa mga sinulat niya? Sino sa mga news paper, magazine editor ang hindi nagkakamali sa words na nilalagay nila sa write up nila? I remember even an actor from Hollywood said "Oh sorry wrong grammar" (sa isang late night show :).  I remember also as I read Bianca Gonzales blog (TV personality, writer in the Philippine Star) once write this "I've been told that I express myself well through words, but I know I'm not an excellent writer. My grammar, punctuation and prepositions are sometimes off, I don't know the meaning of a lot of big words, and there is so much about the world that other people know but I don't. I do know that I am passionate about sharing my thoughts with words, and I guess that counts".  And yes all the words that Bianca G. said is also my thoughts...I start blogging not to impress anyone that I'm good in English....I start blogging because I have an Expressive personality (if you took psychology subject you know who have expressive personality). I love sharing my thoughts, ideas and my experienced to every body...I think I am passionate in sharing things....I love it when someone listen to me, I love someone who read my blog with all their heart not just because they are interested about my life but because they learn something from it. If you re-read all my blog specially personal post I hope you feel that I am the one whose telling the stories instead of the feeling na parang binasa niyo lang then wala naman kayong natandaan sa mga sinulat or story ko....I was inspired with Ana Gonzales and Divine Lee's Blog hindi sila super "englishero" but if you read between the lines you can feel na parang sila lang ang nagkukuwento, and most of all maraming followers ang naniniwala sa kanila :)
One more thing I am proud to say 6 years na akong blogger :) (here in blogspot mga almost 2 years palang) but for long years of blogging first time ko lang naka encounter ng "God's instrument"...

I'll end this blog with one message.....Again "I'm here not to Impress  but to.......

-Glenn Encinares

I love you all my dear readers!
