Review Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator

Hi Readers!

Last week I got my sample of Estee Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator in Rustan, Makati. After the first time I applied this product (as in first application ha!) I notice this was different from the other serum I used, I notice the radiant glow in my skin it was like I was wearing make-up.

Product Oaths:

New Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator instantly illuminates skin tone and reduces the look  of blotchiness for immediate radiance.

In just 2 weeks  - 62% of women showed significantly more even, translucent skin.
In 4 weeks - 80% of women witnessed more even toned skin.
Overtime - Skin looks noticeably CLEARER, BRIGHTER, and more EVEN-TONED.

This intensive yet gentle oil-free serum features powerful technologies to address the look of every key sign of uneven skin tone:

1. Triple-Optic Technology
Provide skin with a brighter more luminous look for the very first application.
2. Correct Tone Technology
Visibly reduces uneven skin tone in 2 weeks, while anti-oxidants help prevent its re- appearance.

Discoloration is characterized by visible tonality changes in certain places on the face and not others and becomes apparent when light on the skin's surface is not reflected in a uniform way. It is a primary concern for women of all ages, and can be caused by a variety of different factors such as genetics, allergies and environmental assaults, including UV exposure and pollution. All these factors can trigger discoloration.

The key sign of skin discoloration for Asian skin include blotchiness, dark spots, dullness, sun spots, acne marks.

Pros (What I like):
1. Not sticky. Unlike other serum I have used, this one is not sticky and heavy.
2. I didn't experience any breakouts, irritation or harshness.
3. The finished look is like I'm wearing make-up. My skin look luminous.
4. Small dark scars in my face light-up.

White serum with tiny gold sparkles
1st day of application - I have dark spot due to acne and some scars. Those spots with circles were scarce and very visible. After 3rd day of used most of the scars or spots light up. The 3rd photo is how my face look after applying this product and with make-up
(Look flawless isn't it?)
Cons (What I don't like)
1. A bit pricey. It cost P5,450.00 per bottle.
2. It doesn't solve my eye problems like dark circles, under eye lines or wrinkles. But I read they have separate products for eye problems called Estee Lauder Idealist Cooling Eye Illuminator which cost P3,200.00 per tube. Hope they made the product all-in-one.

Recommendation:

My face still has some red spot and some blemishes but some were light up maybe if I used this product in longer time, I can see the best result. For one week of used I have been pleased with the results, I like the radiant glow and how it lights up my spots. Yes, I recommend this product :)

She love playing with my make-up :)

Hi Readers!

This is the first time I made a video but not actually a tutorial video but a short clip of my niece who love playing my make-up. She's so cute little princess no one teaches her how to use those make-up maybe she's watching me or my sister when ever I applied one. She's only 1 year old, love watching Disney Channel, love to play, love to sing and dance and at the age of 1 year old she's already studying at the Gymboree. She really grow-up fast and I'm very happy she's so talented. Here's the short video :)

e.l.f. Waterproof Eyeliner Pen (7303 black)

Hi Readers!

Eyeliner used to enhanced our eye, to have more dramatic or sophisticated look. I bought e.l.f. waterproof eyeliner pen because I read lots of good review about this product so tried this also and the same with the other users I was also happy I discovered this. Here's my reviews for this product.

The packaging
Pro’s (what I like)
  • Staying Power: e.l.f. waterproof eyeliner pen lasts for hours or it’s a long wear eyeliner
  • Smudge free (it easily dry fast) and waterproof.
  • Smooth pen applicator: easily glides on color for very fine to bold lines.
  • Price: Inexpensive, this product cost only P129.75 pesos in 1.8 g.
  • Very handy: fit to my make-up purse (just like carrying an ordinary pen)
This is my sample of eyeliner pen application. naku kita ang under eye wrinkles ko (oops!)
Con’s (what I don’t like)
  • Can’t remove easily. Must use oil based make-up remover.
  • Sometimes its hard to open or close the cap of the pen.
Tips:
  • Be careful when opening the cap (sometime its hard to open or close the cap of the pen)
  • To remove this you need to use Oil based make-up remover since I don't have oil based make-up remover I only have Ponds Cold Cream (which can't hardly remove this kind of eye make-up) I discovered that Johnson Baby Oil can also remove eye make-up.
  • You have to keep this upside down, otherwise the tip will dry.
Directions of use:
Hold applicator at a slight angle and apply color to the base of lashes. Use a light touch for the thin lines or a firmer touch for thicker lines.

Ingredients:
Water, Styrene/Acrylates/Ammonium Methacrylate Copolymer, SD Alcohol 40 (Alcohol Denat), Butylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth-12 Sulfate, Benzyl Alcohol, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone. May contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77742), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Chromium Hydroxide Green (CI 77289), Yellow No.5 Lake (CI 19140), Ferric Ferrocyanide(CI77510) Blue NO.1 Lake (CI 42090).

Here's my test. I wore it around 8:00 a.m. (above) then after 12 hours or 8:00 p.m. the eyeliner  was still there(it didn't smudge except what you see in the picture the mascara I used was the one did smudge)

New Blogsite Theme

Hi Readers!

I know you notice my new theme from a plain white (which I found look bored sometimes) to a girly pink theme (one of my favorite color is pink - yah! that is why I love hello kitty and piglet he!he!he! :). First I want it to look more of corporate type by using black, brown, gray color but since majority of my blog was all about make-up, beauty products and for all the girl stuff I end up using baby pink color. Hope you like it too :)

Happy Blogging to us and Good day everyone!!!

My lipstick is not a MAC

Hi Readers!

So the title caught you, yes I made it more interesting so that you click it and view my page :) will this blog is kind of related to that...the first time I used this lip and cheek tint I was not that totally impress with the shade. I thought the color is only fit to those who have whiter or fairer skin than mine with a morena skin. The second try I was totally hooked I love the color :) you'll see what I mine ( check this photo):
The shade is kind of pinkish at the same time look like purple.
This Lip and Cheek Tint is from VMV Hypoallergenic the color is
Blush Crush.
I don't know if this Lip and Cheek Tint is still available in the market (just check VMV boutiques) but if your interested with the same color check MAC (I saw the same shade in their lipstick line).

What I like about this product:
1. I like the color (remind me of barbie doll's lipstick :)
2. if you use this as cheek tint - it is good as like as blush make-up
3. I love the staying power - I used this around 5:00 p.m. until 12:00 midnight the color still there.
4. I like the glossy effect.

What I don't like
1. can stain teeth (I recommend you to use brush for good distribution).
2. I don't know if still available in the market.

For above look heres the make-up list I used:
(L-R) Lip and Cheek Tint color Blush Crush from VMV Hypoallergenic,
Mineral Loose Powder  and Oh-La-Lash Mascara both from VMV Hypoallergenic,
Elf Waterproof Eyeliner Pen and Cover Girl Classic Color Blush in Rose Silk color.

Walking in a different style

Hi Readers!

Another day has past, tomorrow Saturday is a rest day and this is my opportunity to have a simple activities like walking (I want to burn those extra pound in my body). To make walking extra exciting I bought a pedometer which I saw in CD-R King at Cash and Carry Mall.

A pedometer is a step counter device or it counts each step a person takes by detecting the motion of the person's hips. It usually used by physical fitness enthusiasts or by sports. Pedometers are now becoming known as an everyday exercise measurer and motivator. It was often worn on the belt and kept on all day.  Pedometer can give encouragement to complete with oneself in getting fit and losing weight. According to my research A total of 10,000 step per day is equivalent to 5 miles (8.O km) is recommended by some to be the benchmark for an active lifestyle.

CD-R King Pedometer Review:

According to the Packaging:
  • Pedometer adopts microcomputer technology with mini-construction design and readable LCD display. The paces are detected via the movement of waist.
  • Step counts range from 0-99999.
  • Reset key to clear the records.
  • It will automatically turn off after not being used for one and half minutes.
Mounting:
  • Attach the pedometer securely to your waistband or belt. Close to the center of your body, false mounting or walking way will possibly cause inaccurate result.
Measurement:
  • Start the measurement by pressing the "RESET" key
  • Clear all the numbers memory before starting the measurement again.
Pro's (What I like):
  1. Very affordable gadget. It only cost P50.00
  2. It really motivate me to walk more. I set a goal of at least reach 2,000 step or up.
  3. Comes in small size. Very handy or not heavy.
  4.  It will automatically turn off after not being used. (energy saver)
  5. Battery operated (AG10).
Con's (What I don't like):
  1. This pedometer also erroneously record movements other than walking, such as bending or any simple movement. (sometimes I have to reset it again if I notice it count my movement like reaching some object)
Recommendation:

So far I'll just used this product even sometimes I encounter erroneous record. It motivates me to move more. I used this gadget to set a simple goal like at least I reach 2,000 counts. I also check other pedometer but this one is much affordable, so if you want also to measure your steps I recommend this as a starter device. But for those runner or sport enthusiast I suggest to look for much better Pedometer which cost around P200 plus and up.

Simple Birthday Celebration

Hi readers!

Its Friday again guys :) so what's your plan after work or school? hang-out tonight? or go straight home to watch the finale of your favorite telenovela? (just like me) or simply just rest and enjoy the free time.

I plan to do lots of activities this weekend including a special plan this Saturday :) (what it is??? will I'll just blog about it next time)
