FOTD: Kabuki Brush from Landmark

Hi Readers!

     I love collecting make-up brushes; I started buying make-up brushes after I graduated in college or when I was already working. When I was in college I don’t even mind to have one, I only have pressed powder, lipstick (which I rarely used) and baby cologne in my bag. Brushes are also important in applying make-up, it help the evenly distribution of powder, foundation and blushes, for hygiene purpose too, and for complete polished look.

     Last Saturday I went to Landmark in Makati, finally I found Kabuki Brush (in cosmetic section near the escalator). Here’s my review for this brush:

Pro’s (what I like):

  1.       Good packaging - comes with light brown bristles and black handle. If you purchase this  it comes with transparent container.
  2.     Inexpensive – it only cost P 129.75 pesos or $ 3.00 dollar
  3.         Distributed make-up evenly. (nice coverage)
  4.     No shedding
  5.     Very smooth – I don’t felt any harsh, very gentle on skin.
  6.         Can use as powder brush or blush brush
  7.     Size fit to any make-up purse.

Con’s (what I don’t like):
     So far none I was really satisfied with this brush

Will I re-purchase this?
     Yes, because not only it is affordable but I was really satisfied how soft the brush is. It was made of synthetic hair. I don’t feel any irritation and it was really gentle on my skin. I also recommend this to you my Readers :)

     So hows your weekend? Last Saturday my sister and I went to Alabang Town Center (ATC). My sister visited one of their branch and while waiting for her I strolled around. We ate in Mc Donald, I brought my water bottle.
 I never drink any soda or artificial juices for health reason.
     After Alabang Town Center I went to Landmark, Makati while my sister went to Bonifacio High Street. My first stop was in Glorietta, I watch a show in Activity center. I saw Sam Oh and Chef  Sau check the image below:

In the stage was Chef Sau

What I learned today?

Hi Readers!

I got this quote in facebook today and I fell in love with the encouraging message:

    "I choose to live by choice, not by chance; to make changes, not excuses; to be motivated and not manipulated; to be useful, not used. I choose self-esteem, not self-pity; to listen to my inner voice, not the random opinions of others"

Classic Poems

Hi Readers!

     Do you still remember any poems that you recited during your elementary or high school day? Here are the 2 poem I can still remember - All Things Bright And Beautiful by Cecil Frances Alexander and Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe.

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.

Each little flower that opens,
Each little bird that sings,
He made their glowing colours,
He made their tiny wings.

The purple-headed mountain,
The river running by,
The sunset, and the morning,
That brightens up the sky;

The cold wind in the winter,
The pleasant summer sun,
The ripe fruits in the garden,
He made them every one.

He gave us eyes to see them,
And lips that we might tell,
How great is God Almighty,

Who has made all things well.

     * I like All Things Bright and Beautiful because it reminded us that how God created
everything equally and beautiful.

Annabel Lee

It was many and many a year ago,
In a kingdom by the sea,
That a maiden there lived whom you may know
By the name of ANNABEL LEE;
And this maiden she lived with no other thought
Than to love and be loved by me.

I was a child and she was a child,
In this kingdom by the sea;
But we loved with a love that was more than love-
I and my Annabel Lee;
With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven
Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,
In this kingdom by the sea,
A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling
My beautiful Annabel Lee;
So that her highborn kinsman came
And bore her away from me,
To shut her up in a sepulchre
In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in heaven,
Went envying her and me-
Yes!- that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of the cloud by night,
Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love
Of those who were older than we-
Of many far wiser than we-
And neither the angels in heaven above,
Nor the demons down under the sea,
Can ever dissever my soul from the soul
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee.

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

First Week of July Two Thousand Eleven

Hi Readers!

       Last Monday (July 04)  my family went to Ayala just read my previous blog about it or click here. I forgot to mention in that blog that I was little disappointed because my favorite hello kitty ring lost one blue stone which was part of flower petal check the image below...

     I visited my doctor last Thursday( July 07) because this past few day's I experienced weird things in my tummy again but before that while preparing and do my make-up I used my newly purchased eyelash curler which I bought in Watson. It was ordinary eyelash curler but comes with light blue handle . I like the color,  the extraordinary handle and its affordable it cost less than P50.00 pesos that's why I picked it up. So while pressing the eyelash curler handle (lower corner of the eyelash curler check image below) I was accidentally pressed it hard then my hand almost dropped the eyelash curler and it pulled out almost 50% of my eye lashes :( whaah and ouch!!! check the image below...
       The lesson I learned was first use the eyelash curler with good handle the one where you can put your point finger and the thumb in the hole so that you can control your hand (check the image below). Second test the product first before you buy it. Third invest in a best eyelash curler, research which brands were in the list of good eyelash curler. Actually guys I have the same eyelash curler like the image below, I only use that eyelash above because I just tested it but I was really disappointed with the result :(

Other Story:

     For this week I experienced mixed emotions. Sometimes happy, sometimes exited but most of the time SENTI mode (short for Sentimental - prompted by feelings of tenderness, sadness, or nostalgia). I will leave a quote I got from twitter which reflected about me...

Some heel shoes of Parsian cost around P1,000 plus the design look like the same as branded shoes.

    After SM we also went to Landmark (the old Glorietta was still under renovation only few store was left some store move to Glorietta 5 a separate building near Rustan (what I hate was there's no bridge connection in getting there, ayoko sa lahat ng tumatawid). At the Landmark we also went straight to 3rd floor in the Home Section. I bought a pink plastic water bottle made by familia. I want "drinking of water" as a habbit for healthy benefits. After the shopping we ate at KFC in food court Landmark. Heres some new random things:
